Donations to the Blanchester Schools Foundation can also be made by cash or by check payable to "Blanchester Schools Foundation." Please designate the purpose of your donation in the memo line of your check. Specific funds are listed below.
Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible (501(c)(3)) and may be made in several ways.
Memorial Gifts - Cash or assets to honor a deceased friend, relative, or educator.
Outright Gifts - Cash or long-term appreciated securities.
Deferred Gifts - Bequests, gift annuities, life insurance, or remainder trusts.
Incremental Gift - Gifts made in planned stages over a specific period of time.

Our Funds
General Fund
Provides general support to Blanchester Local Schools District and supports the general operations of the Foundation.
Donations to the General Fund and can be used for all purposes.
Restricted Funds
Donations to these funds can only be used for their stated purpose
Blanchester Alumni Fund
Supports the Blanchester High School Alumni Organization
Building and Facilities Fund
Supports maintenance and repair of and improvements to the grounds and facilities at Blanchester Schools
Color Guard Fund
Purchases uniforms, flags, and equipment for the Blanchester High School Color Guard Program
Music Fund
Provides support to general music programs at Blanchester Local Schools.
Pay-to-Participate Fund
Supports student athletes by paying a portion of the pay-to-participate fees for extracurricular activities. Awarded to multiple students for fall, winter, and spring seasons.
Snyder Family Fund
Created in memory of Cooper and Dorothy Snyder. Fund supports needy students in the Blanchester Local School District.
Special Education Fund
Funds support students and programs in the Special Education program at Blanchester Schools
Vallee Band and Music Fund
Created through donations from local philanthropist Shirley Vallee. The fund supports the music and band programs at Blanchester Schools
Vallee Putman Fund
Created through donations from local philanthropist Shirley Vallee, the fund supports the needs of students at Putman Elementary School
Vallee Drama Fund
Created through donations from local philanthropist Shirley Vallee. The fund supports the dramatic arts program at Blanchester Schools
Wildcat Grant Fund
Funded through a combination of private donations and the staff payroll deduction program, this fund supports special classroom programming through annual grants to Blanchester Schools educators.
Scholarship Funds
Donations to these funds are used for scholarships to graduating Blanchester High School seniors.
Blanchester Alumni Fund - Class of 50-Years Scholarship Fund
Scholarship awarded annually in commemoration of the 50-year anniversary of the Blanchester Graduating Class
Jennifer Aubry Carter Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund
Scholarship awarded annually to Blanchester High School student pursuing a career in nursing
Iva Jean (Irvin) and Raymond Norman Carnahan Scholarship
Scholarship created by Iva Jean and Raymond Norman Carnahan to support a Blanchester graduate by funding their tuition expenses at Wilmington College.
Carlton and Carolyn Binkley Educational Scholarship Fund
Scholarship awarded annually in honor of Carlton and Carolyn Binkley to a student pursuing a degree in education.
Goldie Beef & Goldie Family Club Lambs Eduational Scholarship Fund
Annual scholarship awarded to Blanchester High School graduate studying agriculture
Ledford Family Scholarship Fund
Awarded to Blanchester High School graduate planning to pursue degree at 2-year or 4-year college program, trade school, or military service
