Our Funds
Each fund at the Blanchester Schools Foundation supports the schools in a unique way.
General Fund
Provides general support to Blanchester Local Schools District and supports the general operations of the Foundation.
Donations to the General Fund and can be used for all purposes.
Restricted Funds
Donations to these funds can only be used for their stated purpose
Building and Facilities Fund
Supports maintenance and repair of and improvements to the grounds and facilities at Blanchester Schools
Color Guard Fund
Purchases uniforms, flags, and equipment for the Blanchester High School Color Guard Program
Wildcat Grant Fund
Funded through a combination of private donations and the staff payroll deduction program, this fund supports special classroom programming through annual grants to Blanchester Schools educators.
Music Fund
Provides support to general music programs at Blanchester Local Schools.
Special Education Fund
Funds support students and programs in the Special Education program at Blanchester Schools
Vallee Band and Music Fund
Created through donations from local philanthropist Shirley Vallee. The fund supports the music and band programs at Blanchester Schools
Vallee Putman Fund
Created through donations from local philanthropist Shirley Vallee, the fund supports the needs of students at Putman Elementary School
Vallee Drama Fund
Created through donations from local philanthropist Shirley Vallee. The fund supports the dramatic arts program at Blanchester Schools
Scholarship Funds
Donations to these funds are used for scholarships to graduating Blanchester High School seniors.
Iva Jean (Irvin) and Raymond Norman Carnahan Scholarship
Scholarship created by Iva Jean and Raymond Norman Carnahan to support a Blanchester graduate by funding their tuition expenses at Wilmington College.
Jennifer Aubry Carter Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund
Scholarship awarded annually to Blanchester High School student pursuing a career in nursing
Ledford Family Scholarship Fund
Awarded to Blanchester High School graduate planning to pursue degree at 2-year or 4-year college program, trade school, or military service
Carlton and Carolyn Binkley Educational Scholarship Fund
Scholarship awarded annually in honor of Carlton and Carolyn Binkley
